About
It is inappropriate for NSW Government agencies to use surveys of government clients or NSW citizens to include questions on political issues.
It has been brought to my attention that there have been incidents of agencies in other jurisdictions using surveys to gather data on client voting intentions and other party-political issues.
It is inappropriate for NSW Government agencies to use surveys of government clients or NSW citizens to include questions on political issues.
I would like you to emphasise to all agencies under your administration that under no circumstances should surveys of clients, other users of government services or citizens be used to elicit information of a political nature.
