A Domestic and Family Violence Workplace Support Policy has been developed to assist agencies to support NSW Government Sector employees who experience domestic and family violence.

The NSW Government strongly supports initiatives that enable and support victim-survivors of domestic and family violence to participate in the workforce.
The workplace can make a significant difference to employees experiencing domestic and family violence by providing appropriate safety and support measures. Fostering a workplace culture where employees experiencing domestic and family violence are supported at work while also having access to adequate leave contributes to a health and safe working environment for all.
A Domestic and Family Violence Workplace Support Policy has been prepared by Industrial Relations Premier’s Department and Women, Family and Community Safety (Department of Communities and Justice).
