About
The Labor Council has raised concerns about the implications for staff of funding from Commonwealth Own Purpose Outlays (COPO) or Specific Purpose Payments (SPP).
The Labor Council has raised concerns about the implications for staff of funding from Commonwealth Own Purpose Outlays (COPO) or Specific Purpose Payments (SPP).
Specifically the Commonwealth is to index the funds available under COPO or SPP in 1995-96. The concern is that this will be less than 3%.
Consequently, the Labor Council has sought information on State Government projects that are funded by COPO or SPP. It would, therefore, be appreciated if you could provide brief details of such projects in your organisation by 20 September 1995 as follows:
- Organisation and contact name/telephone number
- Project Description
- Number of staff by occupation
- Any comments on likely implications of Commonwealth funding arrangements.
Any enquiries may be directed to Jim Medd on (02) 228 3579.
Yours sincerely
KEN CRIPPS
