I refer to PEO Circular No. 1996-10 also regarding payment of public employees sitting on Government boards, committees, etc. The provisions of this circular do not apply to staff elected Directors of the Boards of corporatised Government agencies. Public employees sitting on these boards shall receive the same level of remuneration as other directors because they accept the same level of responsibility and personal liability under corporations law.
