Attachment: Bulletin – Premier’s Awards for Public Service (B2013_001)
The Premier’s Awards for Public Service is comprised of four awards:
- Premier’s Award for Individual Excellence and Achievement, which recognises public sector employees who provide exceptional levels of customer service and innovation in delivering excellent results for individuals and the NSW community
- Premier’s Public Sector Awards, which recognises outstanding performance and achievement in the public sector
- Premier’s Partnership Awards, which recognises public sector teams and their partners in business, non-government and academic organisations that are delivering results against at least one of the NSW 2021 goals
- Premier’s Award for Excellence in Public Service Delivery, which recognises the achievements and contribution of non-government employees and organisations for excellence in public service delivery on behalf of the NSW Government.
Individuals and agencies are encouraged to nominate staff, peers, projects and partnerships that showcase the excellent achievements in their organisations.
Nominations open on 4 April 2013.
The nominated Award Ambassadors will coordinate the awards program across their agency.
With the exception of the individual award, which opens throughout the year, all nominations will close on 12 July 2013. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 13 November 2013.
