About
- The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal (SOORT) has made its annual Determination for Chief and Senior Executive Services (CES and SES).
- The Report and Determination was published in the Government Gazette of 12 November 2013. The Determination takes effect from 1 October 2013. It will be available from SOORT’s website: www.remtribunals.nsw.gov.au
- SOORT has determined a general increase to CES and SES remuneration packages of 2.5%. All increases are subject to certification of an officer’s satisfactory performance by the officer’s CEO or, in the case of CEOs, the relevant Minister.
- Recruitment and Retention Allowance rates for the CES and SES are unchanged.
- Administrative Guidelines have been prepared to assist agencies to implement the SOORT Determination.

The attached Administrative Guidelines are provided to assist agencies to implement the 2013 SOORT Determination for the CES and SES.
