These Policy and Guidelines set out mandatory requirements, recommendations and guidance for NSW General Government Sector agencies and other government entities to plan for and conduct the evaluation of policies, projects, regulations, and programs. The Evaluation Guidelines is part of an investment framework that informs policy and budget setting in New South Wales. The framework is used to build evidence to support achievement of State Outcomes and improve wellbeing for the people of New South Wales.
# For the purposes of this policy, ‘agency’ is all General Government Sector agencies (as listed in NSW Budget Paper No. 1). All General Government Sector agencies and non-commercial public non-financial corporations (as listed in NSW Budget Paper No. 1) are considered within the scope of the policy and are required to adopt the core requirements.
