The requirements outlined in this Memorandum and the Guidelines apply to all general government sector agencies and public trading enterprises, including state owned corporations.

Overview On 25 March 2013, the NSW Government announced the NSW NOW campaign through the launch of a new website (www.now.nsw.gov.au) and an advertising campaign targeted at business leaders and potential investors.

A key theme for the NSW Government is getting the structures and accountabilities right and working to restore public trust in Government and political institutions.

The Publications NSW website, rebranded as OpenGov NSW: www.opengov.nsw.gov.au, has been relaunched and is ready for agency use.

Attachment: Bulletin – Premier’s Awards for Public Service (B2013_001) The Premier’s Awards for Public Service is comprised of four awards: Premier’s Award for Individual Excellence and Achievement, which recognises public sector employees who provide exceptional levels of customer service and innovation in delivering excellent results for individuals and the NSW community Premier’s Public Sector Awards, which recognises outstanding performance and achievement in the public sector Premier’s Partnership Awards, which recognises public sector teams and their partners in business, non-government and academic organisations that are delivering results against at least one of the NSW 2021 goals Premier’s Award for Excellence in Public Service Delivery, which recognises the achievements and contribution of non-government employees and organisations for excellence in public service delivery on behalf of the NSW Government.

A key objective of the NSW Government is to improve procurement outcomes through enhanced competition by facilitating access to NSW Government procurement business by the private sector, especially by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and regionally-based enterprises.
