Administrative Requirements

NSW Treasury currently administers the contracts for transactional banking, customer payments and NSW Government Cards (purchasing card) (collectively ‘the Services’) on behalf of authorities.

This Direction deals with procurement of services by or for a government agency within the meaning of the Public Works and Procurement Act 1912 (as amended).

Summary Government programs must be regularly examined to ensure they are achieving their intended outcomes and providing a net benefit to NSW.

This Policy identifies government businesses as a type of entity that require a separate and distinct reporting and accountability approach from that which applies to other NSW Government entities.

The Australian Government Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is responsible for the management of the gov.au second-level domain (2LD) under an agreement with .au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA), the industry self-regulatory body for the .au domain space.

Content and Nature of Proposals for Inclusion in Bills Bills will contain the following matters only: minor amendments proposed by government agencies minor amendments by way of pure statute law revision proposed by the Parliamentary Counsel repeals of obsolete or unnecessary Acts (subject to any remaining operative provisions being transferred to other appropriate Acts), proposed by government agencies or the Parliamentary Counsel savings and transitional provisions.

In summary these ‘Early Close Procedures’ require the preparation of a set of pro-forma financial statements and the preparation of non-financial asset valuations and associated disclosures.
