Nominations are now open for the 2010 Premier's Public Sector Awards, held annually to formally recognise and reward outstanding performance and achievement by the NSW public sector.
Nominations are invited from all NSW public sector organisations, including departments and agencies or other bodies in the departmental cluster. Non government organisations may be included as partners in nominations.
The Award categories for 2010 are:
- Leading Change
- Delivering Services
- Engaging with the Community
- Project Delivery Making it Happen
- Succeeding Through Innovation
- Premiers Priority Category Award – Increasing Jobs for Young People
- Premier’s Award for Individual Excellence.
Guidelines are attached. The closing date for entries is Monday, 30 August 2010.
The awards will be presented by the Premier at a ceremony on Monday, 15 November 2010.
I encourage all Chief Executives to nominate outstanding work in their organisation for a 2010 Premier’s Public Sector Award.
