Attachment: Directive: Manual of Delegations 2012 D2012_004 The Manual includes all the previous delegations as well as four new delegations: appointment of long term temporary employees to officer positions, approving the dismissal of a member of staff of a Department who refuses a transfer from one position to another without valid reason, not advertising positions where the Department Head is considering the appointment of a member of staff from a designated disadvantaged group, and appointment of a person belonging to a designated disadvantaged group.

Following the commencement of the Government Advertising Act 2011 (the Act), the Government Advertising Regulation 2012 (the Regulation) and the Government Advertising Guidelines (the Guidelines) on 5 October 2012, new arrangements apply concerning the scope of Government advertising campaigns and for the approval of campaigns.
