The Premier has approved of concessional leave being granted to part of the staff of each Government office on the afternoon of Friday 24 December, 1993 and the other part on the afternoon of Friday 31 December, 1993 subject to departmental convenience and to all offices being kept open on each occasion until normal closing times, with adequate staffing to meet all public requirements.

The arrangements applying to the payment of Travelling Allowances to officers and employees below the SES levels provide that the rate of the allowance diminishes after the absence has passed 35 days.
