On 19 September 2025, the IRC made the Crown Employees Wages Staff (Rates of Pay) Award 2024 providing increases to wages and wage related allowances as follows: 4 per cent from the commencement of the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2024; 3 per cent from the commencement of the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025; and 3 per cent from the commencement of the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026Agencies should process the adjustments to wages and allowances in accordance with the attached schedule for employees who were employed from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2024.
