The notional salary for Senior Executive Officers (SES) has been reviewed and as a consequence the Premier has approved the notional salary being the total remuneration package less the minimum amount required to be paid under the Superannuation Guarantee Charge Legislation.

The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal (SOORT) has in its annual review of executive remuneration determined a maximum three (3) per cent increase for SES office holders on and from 1 October 1995, subject to certified satisfactory performance (refer guidelines for definition).
