The Premier has approved of special leave being granted to part of the staff of each Government office on the afternoon of Monday 24th December, 1990 and the other part on the afternoon of Monday 31st December, 1990, subject to departmental convenience and to all offices being kept open on each occasion until normal closing times, with adequate staffing to meet all public requirements.

As Chief Executives were advised on 7 September 1990, the Premier has approved of new expense payment benefit options for SES officers to apply from 1 October 1990.
